Colorado Mobile Health Project
Typically conducted by phone, routine enteric disease case interviews are critical for foodborne illness surveillance, outbreak detection, and disease control. However, an increasing case load, along with the increased use of mobile telephones, has made case interviews more challenging to complete. For this reason, the Colorado Integrated Food Safety Center of Excellence (CO CoE) developed and evaluated the Colorado Mobile Health (mHealth) Program using online surveys to supplement routine telephone-based enteric disease case investigations.
The following is a list of resources compiled or developed by the Colorado CoE for the Colorado mHealth Project, including example protocols and checklists, REDCap files for Colorado online surveys, educational material to include in an online survey or during patient communication, relevant REDCap tutorials, and resources for designing online surveys.
